Location data: Your device location is used to show nearby venues, events, and vibes while the app is open. When you post a vibe or story, the associated location is stored on our servers until the content expires (typically within 24 hours). We do not track your location in the background.
Account data: If you sign in, we store your email address to link your activity and preferences. Anonymous users are assigned a random identifier. Analytics events may be linked to your account ID when you are signed in, and we record your IP address with each event to help prevent abuse.
Usage data: We collect analytics events (e.g., feature taps, vibe creation) to improve the product. When you are signed in, these events are associated with your account.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data according to their own privacy policies:
Tavo includes AI-powered features: the @Tavo assistant (available in vibe and event chat threads) and the night planner (spot recommendations based on nearby events and venues). When you use these features, the following data is sent to Groq for processing:
We do not send your name, email address, or precise GPS coordinates to Groq. Groq processes this data to generate responses and does not use it to train its models. See Groq's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, and only as necessary to operate the app.
Location data embedded in vibes and stories is retained until the content expires (typically within 24 hours). Account data is retained until you delete your account. Analytics event records (including IP addresses) are retained to help with abuse prevention and product improvement.
You can delete your account directly in the app: open the account menu and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. You can also contact us at privacy@tavo.now with any privacy requests.
Tavo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
